Katy Kildee was born and raised in Flint, MI. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from Central Michigan University in 2015 and has worked as a photojournalist in communities throughout Michigan ever since. Katy now lives in Burton, MI with her partner, Chad. They enjoy bringing Chad's son, Jack, to Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium and hanging out with their cat, Sadie.
