FLINT, Michigan – The “heartbeat of Mexico” further cemented itself in Flint as the Latinx Technology & Community Center hosted its Cinco de Mayo Celebration on Saturday, May 2, in Buckham Alley.

The event featured music from Cumbia legends Los G Notes and folkloric dancers Culturas del Sol. Festivalgoers were able to ride a mechanical bull, enjoy VIP-exclusive lounges, enjoy arts and crafts, and experience authentic cuisine and culture, including the Great Margarita Throwdown.

Flintside’s Ryan Hobson attended the event and captured a small piece of the celebration.
