FLINT, Michigan — Ornamental Security Doors has served the community and surrounding areas with wrought arm doors and window bars for 41 years. Mr. Willie Franklin, who now runs the business with his family, wants to let readers know that they are still open for business and welcome new customers. They are open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 to 3 p.m. at 3042 Pasadena Ave.

Also, with the closing of Rite-Aid Pharmacy has customers searching for new pharmacy options. Maxwell Pharmacy and Brothers' Pharmacy are two local pharmacies that welcome all former Rite Aid customers.

Pharmacist Nirav Gandhi at Maxwell Pharmacy has over sixteen years of retail pharmacy experience and wants to let readers know they also offer flu and COVID-19 shots. Maxwell Pharmacy is relatively new in the area, opening in April 2023 at 3416 Clio Rd. They are open Monday through Friday, 9 to 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, 10 to 1 p.m.

Mr. B, Brothers’ Pharmacy’s pharmacist, welcomes new customers. He shared with me some of the variety of products they offer:

• Bubble packaging
• Durable medical equipment
• Multi-dose compliance packaging
• A free glucose monitor for diabetics
• Vaccinations provided
• Same-day delivery

Brothers’ Pharmacy has been in business since 2009. It is located at 118 W. Pierson Rd. Its hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 1 p.m.
