The month includes a mix of local productions, national touring acts, and collaborative performances, offering programming for audiences of all ages.

Highlights include the FIM Flint Repertory Theatre’s Ghost Light Cabaret on April 1, the co-produced musical Lucky Stiff running through April 4, and Celebr8 Flint Rep, a benefit event marking eight years of professional theatre in Flint on April 8.

On April 10, audiences can choose between A Midsummer Night’s Dream and More at FIM Whiting Auditorium, featuring student performers, or Bee Gees Gold: The Tribute at the FIM Capitol Theatre. Additional performances include Water Street Dance Milwaukee on April 11.

Comedy fans can attend #IMOMSOHARD: The Flashback Tour on April 17, while music programming continues with a Flint Symphony Orchestra performance on April 18 and a performance by country artist Clay Walker on April 24.

A standout event in the lineup, Flint Under the Stars: Hip-Hop featuring Jeff Skigh with special guests King Cashes and Twicee, will take place April 18 at the FIM Capitol Theatre.

Skigh, a Flint-based artist and community organizer, is known for his track “Good Vibes” and a growing body of work rooted in collaboration and community connection.

The performance will also support KidsTix, a program that expands access to the arts for children and families, with a minimum $5 donation required per ticket.

The month concludes with the Flint School of Performing Arts’ 48th Annual Showcase Concert on April 26, highlighting student talent across disciplines.

Tickets for all events are available at tickets.fim.org, at FIM box offices, or by phone. Genesee County residents receive a 30% discount through the county’s arts and cultural millage program.
