FLINT, Michigan — With a vast list of athletes from Flint leading in sports like football and basketball, the city has also produced Olympic-winning professional championship fighters such as Claressa Shields.
Coach Andrew Aikins of 475 Elite Boxing is preparing to get Flint’s Jaylyn Nichols on that list as the young boxer makes his way through the amateur ranks.
