The first annual FLINTer Fest 2022 is happening this weekend

Transforming Flint’s iconic Buckham Alley in downtown Flint, the FLINTer Fest is a free, family-friendly winter experience for all ages.

FLINT, Michigan — The first-ever FLINTer Fest is underway and will take place on Saturday, Feb. 12 from 1-9 p.m. The event is hosted by Greater Flint Arts Council’s Parade of Festivals program, in collaboration with The What’s Up Downtown Project, and the Flint Downtown Development Association, and funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.

Transforming Flint’s iconic Buckham Alley in downtown Flint, the FLINTer Fest is a free, family-friendly winter experience for all ages unlike any other. The festival is a multi-business collaboration between Aaron Christopher Events, Kerale C. Events, Wav Village Recording Studio, Flint Social Club, and the Immersive Visual Art Network (I.V.A.N.). 

An Arts & Craft Workshop will be available for parents and children powered by Sprout Worldwide. In addition, BassBoss and professional production company ProLux Entertainment will also provide a unique enhanced audio and visual experience for attendees.

Music is the show’s star, and The FLINTer Fest boasts an incredibly diverse lineup of music artists across multiple genres. Musical performances include Third Coast Swing; Inner Mitten Blues; The Blue Hawaiians; Some Black Cat; DJ Super Will; FINGAROWL; TRÏBŪ; Brelia Renée; Furillostar; Tay Boogie; Taylor Tatum; Ace Gabbana; Cameron Tyler; Sway Montoya; Figga Da Kid; and Jeff Skigh.

Heated tents will be available near Comma Bookstore & Social Hub, The Loft, and The Torch.
