Office hours are an opportunity for people to come meet with Flintside staff, share story ideas, and shape the work of Flintside’s ongoing On the Ground project in Civic Park.

Flintside also hosts weekly office hours 8:30-11 a.m. Tuesdays in the Flintside office, on the second floor of Joy Tabernacle Church. Additional office hours are being scheduled throughout the Civic Park neighborhood, typically on Thursdays.

Flintside managing editor Marjory Raymer, On the Ground project editor Alexandria Brown, and/or On the Ground engagement manager Anna Mansfield are on hand during all office hours. You also frequently can find them at events and neighborhood meetings throughout Civic Park.

The On the Ground program is a partnership between Flintside and Civic Park neighborhood leaders to bring more news coverage to the historic northside neighborhood. It is part of a larger effort to bring more attention to Flint neighborhoods and provide a platform to ensure resident voices are heard.
