Detroit’s legendary jazz flutist Alexander Zonjic will return to Flint to perform a benefit concert for the Mott Community College Fellowship in Music Scholarship.

Alexander Zonjic and friends will perform “Funk, Pop, Motown and All That Jazz” featuring Serieux, Michigan’s award winning Motown Tribute Act, James Lloyd on keyboard who founded the Pieces of Dreams ensemble, and the MCC Jazz Band under the direction of Frank Yon.

The fundraiser will take place Friday, November 11 at The Capitol Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $25. Proceeds from the concert support the Fellowship in Music Scholarship, which provides full scholarships for students majoring in music at MCC.
