‘Good for the Soul’ Comedy Show promises laughter and support for Communities First, Inc.

FLINT, Michigan — Flint residents can enjoy an evening of laughter with a purpose at the upcoming ‘Good for the Soul’ Comedy Show, a fundraiser supporting Communities First, Inc. The event will be held on Thursday, April 24, at Blackstone’s Smokehouse (531 S. Saginaw St.) in downtown Flint.

The show is part of Communities First, Inc.’s year-long 15th anniversary celebration and will feature a lineup of comedians delivering PG-13, TV-clean comedy for all to enjoy. Doors open at 6 p.m. for dinner and drinks, with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

“Our goal is to bring people together for a fun night while raising awareness and funds for the work we do,” said Glenn Wilson, CEO and President of Communities First, Inc. “It’s a chance to celebrate, laugh, and support communities in need across Michigan.”

Hosted by emcee JeCorey Hawkins, the show will include performances by Just Janet, Kesha No “i”, and Marv Barnett.

Tickets are a suggested $25 donation, with all proceeds benefiting CFI’s ongoing efforts to provide affordable housing, foster economic development, and offer innovative community programming.
