FLINT, MI--Factory Two and US Ignite have partnered to host the Flint Smart Cities Initiative Reverse Pitch Competition, during which contestants will be presented with a public safety problem and will pitch ideas for connectivity apps to address problems such as the opioid epidemic or gun violence.
According to organizers, the event should appeal to those who want to test their skills as an engineer, programmer, community activist, or entrepreneur. Contestants will compete for over $30,000 in prizes to help bring their ideas to fruition.
