FLINT, Michigan — The nominations for the Flint & Genesee Group’s seventh-annual Art of Achievement Awards are in and the judging is underway. Recognizing business excellence and community leadership in Flint and Genesee County, the awards ceremony will be held on November 4, at the historic Capitol Theatre of downtown Flint.
Over 60 businesses and organizations and more than 70 individuals are contenders for the 16 awards being presented. The Flint & Genesee Group will also be presenting special honors during the event, including the Economic Development Project of the Year, Diversity Equity & Inclusion Champion, Art Hurand Award, and Charles Stewart Mott Award.
The Art of Achievement Awards is the most prestigious business and hospitality awards ceremony in the region and recognizes organizations and individuals throughout Genesee County for their outstanding work. The celebration will kick off with a red carpet arrival at 6 p.m. that night with the awards ceremony starting at 7 p.m.
