FLINT, Michigan — Prince fans are in for a treat as
Marshall Charloff & The Purple xPeRIeNCE, the world’s most celebrated tribute to the music icon, brings their electrifying performance to downtown Flint's FIM Capitol Theatre on Friday, April 4 at 8:00 p.m.
Co-founded in 2011 by Marshall Charloff and Matt “Doctor” Fink — keyboardist from Prince & The Revolution — the tribute band has earned acclaim for its high-energy, live performances that capture the essence of Prince’s legendary sound and style.
With a commitment to authenticity, the group delivers note-for-note recreations of Prince’s greatest hits, performed by top-tier musicians without backing tracks.
Minneapolis native Marshall Charloff, like Prince himself, was discovered at 19 by producer Pepe Willie and has worked alongside industry legends, including the Grammy-winning Commodores and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Little Anthony & The Imperials. Charloff’s band features an all-star lineup, including lead guitarist Tracey Blake, bassist Ron Long, drummer Ron Caron, and keyboardist Cory Eischen.
The concert, set to run approximately 90 minutes, promises a nostalgic and immersive experience for longtime Prince fans and new listeners alike.
