Valley Area Agency on Aging hosts 2025 Annual Meeting to honor seniors and community leaders

FLINT, Michigan — The Valley Area Agency on Aging (VAAA) is set to host its 2025 Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 10, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event will take place at the Genesys Banquet and Conference Center (805 Health Park Boulevard) in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan. 

The event serves as a platform for seniors, their families, caregivers, aging and disability network providers, partners, and state agencies to come together and acknowledge the contributions of individuals and organizations within Genesee, Shiawassee, and Lapeer counties. 

A highlight of the meeting is the presentation of the Centenarian Award which honors residents aged 100 and above within VAAA's service area. 

The event is scheduled to last two hours, and attendees can benefit from free parking at the venue. Tickets are priced at $35 and can be purchased online here. RSVP is due by Friday, March 24, 2025.

The Valley Area Agency on Aging has a rich history of advocating for seniors and disabled adults in Genesee, Lapeer, and Shiawassee counties.
