The Flint business is flourishing as a cutting edge provider of Italian, handcrafted, vintage-inspired glasses to 300 independent optometrists nationwide.
“I began to meet other artists and was exposed to this deep and rich art scene that we have here and that many—I believe—from outside the city don’t know about,” she says.
One town. One team. The Flint Jaguars have arrived. “I’m just ready to put that jersey on and represent my city,” says Kalen Sawyer, No. 75, a right guard and left tackle.

Nancy DeKatch saw vintage shops popping up in bigger cities. She kept wondering why doesn't Flint have stores like that? Then, she thought: Why not open one herself?
