Flintside has opened an office inside Joy Tabernacle Church, 2505 N. Chevrolet Ave. in Flint, and we are hosting weekly open office hours 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesdays. You can often find Flintside staff working there at other times, but these hours will be specifically set aside to sit, visit, listen, and learn.
Fond memories of her childhood in Civic Park motivated Shirlet Earnest to found My Community Resource House and Garden in 2016 as a place to grow vegetables and focus on overall well being.
Bryan Leach is CEO of Polo Grounds and is credited with discovering stars including Lil Jon, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Yo Gotti, and Pitbull. The recording studio at V2xV inside Joy Tabernacle Church was named in his honor during its grand opening Saturday, June 8.
