Small Business Info Fair to highlight local resources

FLINT, MI–Small business owners will have a chance this summer to meet together, learn new things, and share ideas. 

BizBox, a program of Metro Community Development, is partnering with UM-Flint’s Innovation Incubator for the Small Business Info Fair Aug. 9 from noon to 2 p.m. in the UM-Flint Pavilion, located at at 303 S. Saginaw Street in downtown Flint. 

The event will include a vendor fair, community partner networking, and a celebration of “community champions.” Lunch provided. 

BizBox is a free program that works with entrepreneurs to provide the tools they need to get a business started and make it successful. The programs helps startups with things like creating a business plan, business financing, marketing, inventory control, and financing of up to $50,000. The program launched this year and works with a variety of local partners.
