FIA to Host "Splendors of South Asia" Cultural Celebration

FLINT, Michigan — The Flint Institute of Arts Museum + Art School will host “Splendors of South Asia: A Night of Culture & Celebration” on Saturday, October 3, from 6:30 to 11 p.m.

The event is presented by the FIA alongside Diamond Sponsors Avinash and Hema Rachmale. The evening will be a strolling reception inspired by the artistic traditions, cultures, and flavors of South Asia, featuring cuisine, themed entertainment, live performances, music, and immersive cultural experiences.

The event celebrates the diversity and beauty of South Asian art through curated moments that reflect the region’s cultural history and contemporary influence.

Proceeds will support FIA education programs and help expand the museum’s South Asian art collection.

Cocktail or party attire is recommended, and guests are encouraged to wear traditional South Asian attire to celebrate the evening’s theme. Complimentary valet parking will be available at the Kearsley Street entrance.
