In 2009, multi-disciplinary artist Neha Vedpathak invented her signature plucking technique, where she separates the fibers of Japanese hand-made paper using a pushpin, which results in a lace-like paper. Vedpathak then paints, sews, and collages the paper, creating artwork that blurs the lines between mediums.
