The second annual Healthy Flint Research Symposium is set for March 15 at Riverfront Conference Center. Those attending also will have the opportunity to share their ideas on future research in Flint.
Guided bicycle tours start June 1 and offer two- or four-hour rides highlighting Flint's history and future with six tour options: Labor/Automotive History Tour, Uniquely Flint Tour, Community and Economic Development Tour, Flint Parks and Trails Tour, Flint Murals Tour, and the Bike Bar Crawl.

Magic is in the air for the Hurley Benefit Ball this year, an event that will raise money for both Hurley’s Child Life Services and the Hospital Elder Life Program.
Regular seasonal hours continue this week with free open skate 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. on Friday, and noon-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
A pre-season game against Detroit City Football Club is set for May 4, a tournament with 12 Michigan teams May 11, and the official season opener against West Virginia Alliance is May 18.
