Flint Rx Kids Baby Parade comes to Applewood for second annual celebration, July 25
Flint Rx Kids will host its second annual Baby Parade on Friday, July 25, at Applewood Estate. The event celebrates the program’s milestones with a walking parade, family-friendly activities, free food, and more.

FLINT, Michigan — Flint Rx Kids is inviting families and community members to celebrate a year of milestones with its second annual Baby Parade, set to take place Friday, July 25, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the historic Applewood Estate.
Kicking off at Applewood’s main entrance (1400 E. Kearsley St), the event will include remarks from key community figures, including Dr. Mona Hanna, Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley, and a participating Flint mother who has benefited from the program.
The family-friendly event will also feature a walking parade around the Applewood campus, complete with music from DJ AK, yard games, a photo booth, children’s activities, resource tables, and free food.
The celebration is part of Flint Rx Kids’ ongoing efforts to spotlight its work supporting Flint families and improving early childhood outcomes since the program launched just over a year ago.
