FLINT, Michigan — Motherly Intercession, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children of incarcerated parents, is inviting the community to celebrate its move to a new home at 1188 Robert T. Longway Boulevard in Flint.

The celebration will take place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, and will include a faith dedication, ribbon-cutting ceremony, and open house. The day will begin with a special Faith Dedication from 10 to 11 a.m., honoring the organization’s founding and deep roots in the faith community. Light refreshments will be served.

Following the dedication, the ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the new facility, meet the team, and learn more about the organization’s expanded vision.

The move brings Motherly Intercession closer to the families it serves and offers more space to collaborate with community partners.
