Music in the Heart of the City

On Saturday, September 11, at 4 p.m. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church will be
presenting a concert entitled Remembrance. The program consists of works for choir, chamber orchestra, harpsichord and organ. The Remembrance choir will be directed by Daniel Schmier and Steven Holovach.

Schmier was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. He majored in Choral Music Education at The University of Michigan-Flint.

Holovach has a Masters of Music in Conducting from Oakland University. He is currently Director of Choral Activities for Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools and directs the New Century Chorale in Grand Blanc.

This concert is free to the public. It is to honor the memory of 9-11 and Covid victims. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 711 S. Saginaw Street, Flint, MI.
