Once again, volunteers hauled away tons during Flint River Stewardship day: 412 bags of trash, 95 tires, plus 40 bags and two large dumpsters full of yard waste. Buried in all that were quite a few surprises.

Flint Soap Box Derby races to return this summer

Three Flint participants won the national All-American Soap Box Derby Championships between 1978 and 1983. After about 25 years, the All-American Soap Box Derby returns to Flint on June 8. Registration for racers is now open.
