FLINT, Michigan – Bursting with music and the smiles of families, lives at WDZZ 92.7 & Everybody Needs Love’s 14th Annual Back 2 School Rally. Not just an end of summer celebration but a moment for the Flint community to support families and children through the coming school year.
On Saturday 8, 2026, hundreds of kids passed through Second Street in a wave of joy exchanging thank you’s for tablets, backpacks, and books. Food trucks worked hastily to serve hungry tots. Boys and girls sat and sometimes squirmed as barbers and hairstylists faded and braided. Parents sighed a little relief as they took a much needed seat.
Through the generosity of Everybody Needs Love, WDZZ radio station, the Genesee Health System, Wayne’s Barbershop, and the City of Flint, a little weight has been lifted from the shoulders of families going to school this Fall.
